- Overall reading: 61% showed improvement, 14% maintained.
- 100% of students increased on their first 100 sight words; ranging from 3-32 word increase.
- 100% of students increased on their second 100 sight words randing from 3-28 word increase.
- 23% showed slight decline in sight word knowledge, yet as students learn to sound out words, there is a temporary "dip" in sight word recognition as they use their newly developed skills.
- All but 1 student increased in spelling skills ranging from 5-65% improvement
