Piranha Fish

If a could speak, what words would it say?  If you were in a boat with a hand in the water, you'd probably hear the familiar phrase: "Finger licking good!"

This small fish bites off fingers the way a rabbit chews carrots.

After seeing the movie Jaws, you probably thought the great white shark was the most dangerous fish in the world.  Don't you believe it!  The little piranha, with its razor-sharp teeth and strong jaws, has killed more human beings than any other fish.  Piranha can smell blood and will attack any injured creature.  They're fast ad hungry eaters too.  In less than five minutes, a school of piranha can pick a horse clean to the bones.

Once a man was fishing in a South American jungle river, the home of the prianha fish.   He fell from his canoe.  Hanging to the side of the boat, he screamed for help.  Another canoe came to his rescue.  Although his hands were still hanging on the canoe, the man was dead.  From his waist down, the piranha had left only a skeleton.
