-read by Mrs. Spang

Frogs are a kind of animal called amphibians. Most anphibians live part of their lives in the water and part of their lives on land.

Most frogs lay their egges in the water.  The eggs hatch as tadpoles.  The tadpoles live in the water like fish until they are grown.  The tadpole changes from a fish to a frog.  When it is a grown frog, it can live on land. Most frogs always live near the water.

There are many different kinds, sizes, and colors of frogs.  But they all have the same body parts.  Frogs even have many of the same organas as humans do.

Some people like to eat frog legs.
